Or better yet how about you spend a year or two in Watts and/or South Central LA and then come back and give us a report.

I can't. I have a job. Keeps me busy. You, on the other hand, not so much.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Perhaps that's advice you should follow, kip.

Or better still, why don't you spend a year or two in the UK, so when things happen that you've actually got a better idea of exactly what is taking place and why?

I would be much too scared to move to the UK. When they start beating people and burning down buildings again how would I protect myself without any firearm? I would most likely end up a victim like all those UK peeps did last week.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

So you are admitting to being a coward unless you have a gun?

How is avoiding a fight with a group of people unless you have a gun cowardly?

Sounds like common sense to me.

Anyway these are still legal =

Also its pretty easy to make homemade thermite. I'm sure we've all made it in Chemistry classes right?

Try brandishing that in any urban area. Legal or not, you're going to have issues.

And thermite? Same deal.

No, we didn't all make it in chemistry class. At my school, the chemical locker was one of the most secure rooms in the entire building and the little Chinese teacher would guard it with her life. She knew karate.

Do you mean during normal times or a riot?

(There was a man in the UK who went around at night with a Katana stopping crime, slashing criminals etc. He even saved a police officer if I remember. I wonder if they ever found him.)

Imagine what a man with a gun could've done!

So true Slim. He might have gotten drunk and shown all his friends, maybe it would have gone off and killed someone. We'll never know.

Or, maybe he could've stopped some crime with it and even saved a police officer. We'll never know.

Well, guns aren't illegal in the UK, simply more restricted, so as to keep imbeciles who would get drunk and carry a weapon from ever owning them. So maybe one day, we will know. What we'll never know is whether armed morons could actually effect change to a riot.
