Sesame Street has a long history of educating children about what is right - Oscar the Grouch teaches kids that living in a garbage can is ok, Cookie Monster taught kids that they could live entirely on a diet of cookies, and The Count shows kids that it's okay to be obsessed. Just open your eyes - Sesame Street is a cesspool of deviant behavior.

You know there is a difference how an adult can interprete these characters and how kids can just watch and enjoy Sesame Street.

I went from Sesame Street, to Family Guy and Robot Chicken. Yay for progress. :star:

Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

She may be on a different show, but she was created by the same man. If she has a sexual orientation (and she's a puppet) how can Bert and Ernie not have one? The OP said they are puppets and therefore do not have a sexual orientation. Well, that's been proven false because some puppets obviously have a sexual orientation.

We're not even sure about some people, let alone puppets.

I grew up with Sesame Street, an other similar show called "THe Sendung mit der Maus" (THe show with the mouse!?) and Tom and Jerry.

Now I am watching tv with my son and I am totally overwhelmed by all these characters and shows and stuff. It's crazy. His favorite is "The cat in the hat" because he knows the books already.
