Hi folks,

My fiance went to get her Cenomar and NBI clearance. When she filled out and handed in the form for the NBI clearance they told her it would be a month before she got the clearance, is this normal? It was in Cagayan De Oro where she went to get it. We just Got our NOA2 this week on Monday, i don't want the rest of the process to be delayed if at all possible.

I forgot to add, my fiance said the the people where she went to get the NBI clearance said they had a new "system" which is why it would talke so long, it just doesn't make sense to me. Thanks

thats right............my wife got hers in one day ........thats before they switched systems.........so much for not wanting to pay for a good system contract........30 day wait........good luck.....:whistle:

01/31/2011...receive I-130
02/05/2011...get a e-mail notice of NOA-1...states case transferred to CSC
02/08/2011...check clears my bank
02/10/2011... rec. hardcopy NOA-1 in mail...priority date..01/31/2011.....sit back relax and ride this slow mule!!
02/14/2011... touched ( it must have fallen on the floor )..hehe
05/12/2011...NOA-2 OMG...98days u kidding me!!!!!!!

05/28/2011... receive DS-3032 in e-mail/e-mailed the DS-3032 back
05/28/2011... receive AOS fee bill/ and paid online.
06/01/2011... AOS fee bill shows paid.

06/03/2011... IV-bill generated and sented by e-mail
06/04/2011... Paid IV fee bill/ in progress
06/07/2011... IV fee bill showed paid/ downloaded cover sheet
06/08/2011... Express mail both the I-864(AOS) and DS-230
06/09/2011... Confirmed del at 11:10am signed by N visa center.
06/21/2011... SIF...yea!!! called NVC..yes case complete but no interview dates until aug..rats!!
06/28/2011... issured interview date set for 08/08/2011 At 6:30am.

YEA SHE PASSED MEDICAL

ur fiance is still lucky because in some NBI branch, they'll give at least 3 months of waiting which is super duper ridiculous! If I were here, better to get the NBI at their main branch in Manila. I heard it is faster there compare to sub branches in the provinces.....

about the system, actually it isn't new. I think they just back to old way because their contract w/ the IT company they worked with expired and they didn't renew it anymore.....

When life gives you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt....:)

Aug 10 2011- unexpectedly received mail from NVC saying we are approved

w/ my MNL case # on it.

Aug 11 2011- My approved petition already at USEM :)

Aug 16 2011- Finally, USCIS update our status..

Aug 22-23 2011 - Medical Exam: Passed! yay!

Aug 22 2011 - finally received hardcopy of NOA2 on mail and we were approved since Jul 13, 2011

Sep 02 2011 - Interview date! approved!

Sep 14 2011 - Visa received!

Sep 19 2011 - POE (Guam)

Oct 14 2011 - Wedding Day

Nov 21 2011 - AOS Sent

Nov 25 2011 - AOS Delivered

Nov 30 2011 - NOA1s received by email/

Dec 06 2011 - NOA1s hard copies received dated Nov 30, 2011

Dec 22 2011 - Biometric done
