Hi to all,

My husband already have all the papers for I-130 to be mailed, but we fear to experience delays again for sending it to a wrong service center. So we decided to ask some help from you guys.... He live in Michigan, the I-130 instruction says he should send it to Nebraska Service Center, BUT as what i have observed the I-130 papers are being transferred to California Service Center?! So to save time and not to encounter any delays sending from one service center to another, we wanted to know exactly:

* where we should send our I-130 papers?

We also wanted to apply for K3, where should we send our I-129F?

You have to send them to Nebraska as the instructions state, they will then forward them to CSC, there is some processing that happens at NSC such as check cashed by NSC.

You may want to look at the guides regarding the steps involved in filing for a K3. :guides:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k3guide

The guides indicate that the I-129F is sent to the Chicago lock box.

Finally, your profile indicates K1 but your post indicates spousal visa, you may want to update your profile to reflect your current visa status.

YuAndDan,

Thanks a lot, now i understand why they have to go thru NSC first before CSC. But is it the NSC who will assign our case # and cash the check as well?

... Sorry for my timeline, we went into K1, case approved at CSC(NOA2) just a day after we get married, update was sent Sept. 7, so we decided to cancel K1 since it wont fit to our status now. Tried to figure out how i will change my timeline, but failed too... i'll try to figure it out anyway.. again thanks!

To change the profile status at the bottom of your profile page you will see, Edit My Profile, and on that page you can change K1 to K3.

As for time line. I dont see one attached to your profile, you can start one any time.

Good luck!
