Haha, no they don't ask about intimacy. It would be funny if they did.

They do if its a stokes interview, they ask a lot of questions about your sex life.

They do, in Stokes interviews, and it's no laughing matter. Please keep flippant, misleading responses to yourself when people here are relying on accurate information to guide their journey.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

The Filipino prescreeners sometimes ask more than the American consuls. But it's more of like a conversation rather an interview. As long as you know the details about your relationship and the important dates, you're good to go.

Thanks for this. I imagine my fiancee going crazy if they ask him what the initials of my organization stand for! SAG..... guess?

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

super!!! thanks so much!!!!

Also:

Do you know that he was married 10 times before?

Did you know he has 50 children?

Do you know about all those felony convictions?

Some Embassies do try to trip up the interviewee with purposefully false questions.....you two should discuss all the facts and ensure that she will answer them truthfully....."No, that is not correct." can be a true answer.

?what kind of disability does he have(if you dont mind me asking)

the reason i ask is because I have arthritis (not completely crippling, but at times..) and my fiance(in Mexico) has eye-sight problems (desease, corneal dystrophy).

I was kind of concerned that the Visa people would look at our disabilities and see it as a reason for concern...

did yall every have issues with this? do you feel that the disability affected negatively at all yall's process to get the visa?

Yikes, sorry, I didn't see your reply until just now. I don't mind!

My fiance actually doesn't have any physical disabilities, he suffers from severe major depressive disorder. He's on medication, so most of the time he's well enough, but sometimes he just crashes and can't even get out of bed. It's heartbreaking.

To answer your question, though, nope. It had no effect. We had a sponsor so that took care of the only problem we had (his income). The interview itself was pretty chill. The CO asked a lot of questions to make sure I knew what I was getting myself into (and also to check how well I knew him and how aware I was of his illness, I'm sure). He was satisfied with my answers and issued my visa. The whole interview lasted about 8 minutes and I got my passport with the visa 3 days later. I'm going to America on Monday! :D

Okay, I guess there are personal questions, but I think it pretty obvious why by then. If you love a person you should already know almost everything about each other by then. If you are cheating the system and are here for a gc, then the us gov should ask, something a little bit personal, because they already know you don't know ####### about your spouse.

Okay guys, went and looked up stokes and questions. If this is personal then there is something mentally wrong with you. It's not like they are asking, when is the last time you had intercourse, what's his/her favorite position. What's their best feature. These are normal question I would even expect my friends to ask. I am wondering if this happens to people who a) have a big age gap (57 vs 18), b) don't speak the same language, c) aren't really taking the relationshp seriously and d) are truly doing something illegal.

Here are some questions I found:

Your link doesn't work, regardless there have been many posts on VJ about personal questions asked during a stokes interview. A stokes interview happens when they think you are trying to commit marriage fraud to enter the USA.
