So are you blasting the owner of this website that you enjoy using? Just say it plainly, then.

What creative thought process led you to that conclusion? The owner gets money no matter what ads google decides to insert at the top of the page.. It was a simple joke noting that the advertisements had changed based on the topic of the thread.

This is the lamest post I've ever read here, seriously. How teeth look like are first of all genetic, stupidity on the other hand, isn't.

Hmm.. You know Identical twins often have totally different issues with teeth but generally have about the same IQ..

People still drink tap water? puke.gif

"In some areas, tap water may contain added fluoride, which helps prevent tooth decay and cavities. Most bottled water manufacturers in the United States either add fluoride to their product or provide a fluoridated bottled water product. The Food and Drug Administration of the United States does not require bottled water manufacturers to list the fluoride content on the label"

There ya go. :)

But like I said, it depends on how we take care of our own teeth and genetic reasons.

True to some extent. I see plenty of bad teeth every day. Mostly it depends on how well that person takes care of them. In many third world countries there is less emphasis on prevention.

If you don't brush and floss properly, if you don't use a good fluoride containing toothpaste, if you smoke, if you don't get them checked regularly you WILL have problems.

I am glad that I have good pair of teeth and my fiance won't be bothered to have a dental work for me. I guess he's pretty lucky to have me, lol cause I won't rip his pocket for such a costly dental work, hehehe.

WOW! Folks sure are sensitive here about TEETH! (get the pun?? :hehe:)

It is just a reality that many countries and cultures care LESS and do NOT have preventative attitudes about Oral Teeth Care like we have in the USA!

Certain countries just CARE LESS ABOUT TEETH AND THAT IS THAT.

So what is all the fuss about, it's the truth!

You know there are all kind of jokes about rednecks here in the good ol USA and Teeth. LOL

Then there's also if you do drugs. I hear the damage is a doozy and requires thousands of dollars.headbonk.gif

In America, I don't think I have ever seen someone at a five star hotel serving you with missing side upper teeth like I saw at Marriot at the Manila Airport. I agree now that there are many in XYZ (insert your selected region jeesh) that have good teeth but I think that depends on factors related to accessibility and affordability. My post was not a statment of fact, it was a question. You need to pay attention! Lol.

I didn't have good teeth either for poor care when I was young but I am lucky enough to made that up with money and I now take care of them. I love my fiancee. She will get the best dental care provided. I also love the Philippine people as a whole, they are much nicer than Americans IMO (please American's don't flame me for that). I guess it is politically correct to say this if I am from America ????

For those of you that are sensitive about dental care I don't understand why.. maybe because I hit a nerve (no pun intended). Lighten up for God's sake and be happy :) I have bigger fish to fry than chasing sensitive people. Thank you all for your comments. I read everyone !

I did pay attention. Your original thread title and question..".Do ALL .....(you know who) need dental work". You cast an all inclusive innuendo on an entire female population of one specific culture . :bonk:

Let me give you a few examples to help you understand my perspective....

1st...appropriate questions....

Do all Republicans oppose raising taxes? Do all scientists believe mankind is causing global warming?

Now....Inappropriate questions....

Do all Catholic priests molest alter boys? Are all people from (you name the state) toothless rednecks? Are all blonde haired women ditzes?

(How 'bout you try that last question on a room full of women and see how well it's recieved. )

Recognize the difference?

yeah the title change was needed.. Though I am not sure what people found so weird about the general topic.. I would hope someone reading this topic would take away this: If you are bringing your guy/girl over and they need dental and/or medical treatment it makes good financial sense for them to have it done before they make the journey.

I would include in that some possible elective surgeries such as LASIC..

Well, if you underlined the word DO instead of ALL, you would see that it was a question and the appropirate answer would have been NO and not a rant! You are as sensitive as all woman... oOOPS ? Let me rephrase that. You are as sensitive of at least 65% of the women I have known in my life. Lol. Don't be so sensitive.
