Timeline

Communicating since Oct 2010 thru email/phone

Met on 1/4/11 first time in person

Married at family ceremony on 1/9/2011

Applied I130 on 4/27/2011

Applied I129F on 5/3/2011

Still no visa, may be it will take full 5 months. Looooong process

I got my I-130 approved just 5 days shy of 5 months. Hang in there! you'll be approved soon!

And please remember, you're not getting a visa at this stage or even applying for one. The USCIS stage is for PETITIONING to apply for a visa. NVC is for APPLYING for the visa. And if you're approved at the interview, only then will you actually RECEIVE the visa.

And finally I got the email that my case is at NVC now so they asked for the communication details and then the process will start. so now its matter of going thru another phase of documentation.

I think you mean they asked for the DS3032 Agent of Choice form. That will be for the CR1 visa, not the K3. Time to study the guide and shortcuts for NVC. Post your remaining questions in the CR1 visa forum. That's your path now.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
