NVC wait what the hell?

Ok so we filed the CR1 with a date of 25th of may. an after request for expedite were approved 23rd July, NVC received it 25th of July(from cali, wow)i have called every single day since the 25th of july and keep getting told the same thing youll get your case number etc middle of this week, still aint got it, we got real lucky that nvc received it after 2days some folks on here from june approval still aint at NVC yet, but why when they receive it are they so dam slow and why does every operator give u a different answer, it really is starting to drag on now wish we could just get our case number etc an start the last journey to getting my hubby home

There is a major delay from what we can tell.

I was approved (NOA2) June 24th and it took almost 41 days to get my NVC case number.

The problem is that CSC service center approved a TON of files in a short amount of time and this created a severe backlog at NVC.

Hang in there and keep calling everyday.

Also, you have to re-request you expedite for NVC. It DOES NOT carry over from USCIS.
