Hi Im back again here in visa journey....

Im already here in USA my problem is petitioning my daughter from Philippines

Im reading the I-130 instruction and i need to fill up the form G-325a for her

I dont know who should sign for it is it her or me

she is only 8 years old

so please help me....

what kind of visa i will file for my mother? I want her to accompany my daughter here

when should I file her visa??

First thing is first, are you a citizen or an LPR? If you petition your daughter as an LPR, she would be in the F2A visa category.

You sign it on your daughter's behalf.

You have to be a citizen to file for your mother.

September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned

Do not be confused,,first things first. Ur husband can file an I-130 for ur daughter and u can only petition your mother when u become a citizen. Why did u not bring ur daughter with u thru K2?

yeah my husband gonna petition my daughter...

Im on IR1 visa now

so if im gonna petition my daughter she will be under IR2

I just want my mom to accompany my daughter to come here

coz i cant go back to the philippines to fetch my daughter

so im planning to apply tourist visa for my mom not an immigrant visa

OK, I see now. You do not file or apply for a tourist visa for your mother, your mother has to apply for it on her own and whether or not she is issued one will be based on her own ties to the Philippines.

It is best if ur husband files the I-130 for ur daughter. My husband did and my plan was to get my mom a tourist visa to bring my kids here since they're only 8 and 12 that time.

But tourist visa is not just costly..needs a lof of documents to show strong ties so i decided to just went home and travel with my kids back here.
