Hello,

I've got a question about the size of the photo that we sent with the form G-325A. I have already sent my photos to my fiancee

And the size of my photos are 5x7 (I am the beneficiary)

This is the size of pictures that we (beneficiaries) must send along with Form G-325A, right?

How should the size of the photo of the petitioner?

How should the size of photos for the petitioner submit with the form G-325A? The same size? 5x5 or 5x7?

I'm having doubts about this information...

Thanks!

Way too big. They want a passport photo. 2x2 The exact size is on the USCIS homepage.

2x2 inches it's 5x5 centimeters, so 5x5 it's not too big. :) Most countries in the world use metric system with millimeters, centimeters, meters... and many people there don't know how much is inch or foot in their usual metric system. I learned inches and feet but still very confused with fahrenheits. :) [it's Victor from Russia writing]

Leandro Idiarte, you need 5x5cm (50x50mm) photos.

WHen my fiancee sent me her 5x7 cm picture (same as in UK) I was able to get the girl at walmart to make it the correct 5x5 size. You don't need to resend. The walmart (or walgreens or whoever)photo tech just needs to be computer savvy enough to change the size of your picture. Mine went through with no RFE. Also, I read some blogs on ***removed*** that said beneficiaries were able to use their foreign passport size pictures without having problems. As I said, I took my girl's picture to walmart to be cropped by the photo tech just to be sure, but this photo worked fine. If I'm not mistaken the next time you will need passport sized photos is when you have your interview. If there is a place near you that will take the 5x5 pics for you it may be a good idea to get a couple sets of them taken. You'll also need passport sized photos when you send in your AOS.

Good Luck!

It's 5x5 centimeters. The ones you have are wrong.

my passport photo is larger than 2x2 :)

if it is larger than 2x2 or 51mm x 51mm then it isn't a passport photo. you need to get it resized. If you're talking about the supporting evidence photos then 5x7 is fine

While it is true that most of the world uses the metric system the G-325A is part of the application for a visa to the US. The OP should get in the mind set that the requirements are set by the US government. It's not always standard and logical, but there are directions.

Based on information contained on the US Consulate in Rio de Janeiro website (http://brazil.usembassy.gov/interview/forms-for-fiancee-visas/order-of-documents-for-the-interview---fiancee.html) 5 x 7 cm passport photographs are acceptable. Please make sure the photographs are frontal photographs showing both ears and no earrings.

To confirm if the info on the website is current, you can always send an email to the consulate at immigrationrio@state.gov. They appear very responsive to emails (I received replies to 3 emails I sent during the week of Aug 8 within 2 hours).

Best of luck.

Pansh

The US consulate in Rio may accept that size but the USCIS in the USA does not. They accept US size passport photos.
