The focus groups will address the following issues, among others: USCIS Baltimore Field Office, USCIS 800-Line, USCIS website, and general communication between USCIS and its customers. The focus groups will be conducted in a professional focus group facility in Philadelphia, PA (Center City).

Yes, I would go! You obviously have a lot of complaints about presumably falling through the cracks and how the Service Centers adjudicate newer petitions in order to change their numbers (to impact average processing time so they don't "appear" backlogged), and who knows what else! You can't change the system if your voice is not heard! Good luck!

AOS for my husband

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

It will be nine months Monday since I got my NOA1, and my heart is still in anguish. I truly do not believe a focus group will help. They know what their problems are. It will take a huge government intervention to change this system.

NOA 1 November 15, 2010

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Closed NVC Ocotber 11, 2011

Interview Date: January 12,2012

Thank you my wonderful God in Heaven.

It probably will not produce any significant results/ changes, however I would certainly go just to vent and let them know the frustrations, challenges, problems with this entire process from beginning to end including the distance between loved ones and children. The fact that a CO has full discretion in terms spouses/fiances obtaining a visa is quite bizarre to me still.

I would also bring up a question (which you will not get an answer too) as to how many fradulent marriages easily obtain visas and was later found out to be fraud vs. how many bonafide relationships were denied via the consular office and reinstated by USCIS and proven to be true marriages later on.

Absolutely go! If these are like any of the focus groups I attended, there will NOT be any USCIS reps there - this company is doing research for them. So definitely feel free to vent, share experiences freely - no downside to it.
