First Passport App

Hello,

I'm in the process of trying to get my "first" British passport and have a question. In section 1B, it asks for a certificate number, place and date of issue, reference number, and section....where do I obtain this information from?

Either from your birth certificate or your citizenship certificate.

Did you read the instructions on applying for one/filling out the forms? generally they tell you what you need to apply with in the instructions.

Yeah, I have them in front of me, but I don't see the specific number's/dates that they are asking for. On my birth certificate, there is an app number, a QBDY number, and NHS number, and then there is a date of registration...that's why I'm confused. Sorry, I'm new to all of this.

It says "Were you naturalised or registered as a British subject, citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies, British citizen, British Dependent/Overseas Territories citizen, British Overseas citizen or British protected person?"

I was born in the United Kingdom, and yes I am a British citizen. Therefore, I have to answer the following:

Certificate number, Place and date of issue, Reference number, section.

I don't know where to find these.

if the question applies to you then you will have a naturalization certificate but i i was born in the uk and i would answer the question as "no". if you wasnt naturalized then the question doesnt apply to you

AAAHHHHHH!!!!! I guess I just needed someone else to say that out loud for me to comprehend the question. Your exactly right, the answer is no, lol. Thanks so much!!
