Hello, USCIS will review your I-130. They will then send it to NVC. NVC will contact you for each step regarding applications and fees. after NVC approves all of your forms, they will schedule you an interview. I would suggest having your wife and yourself review every step and every form. The more you know, the better off you are. Good luck!

Well Rujby nobody can assure you that it will or will not be a problem. This process in total can take to anywhere between 6 months to a year so by the time you get to the interview stage you and your wife relationship will be further along. Also in the mean time if she can visit frequently that would help as well as gathering alot of evidence of proving your marriage is the real deal. I believe with all that I mentioned you should be fine. Just my two cents.

I myself will have already prepared my packet and will be sending it off next week its good to at least talk to someone who is going through the same thing as you. This website has ALOT of information and when you ask a question people do respond. Although I dont see many people thats filing from Haiti as active but most of the information is the same. Oh and your quite welcome.
