Off to slit my wrists now as I am obviously too stupid to live.

Sorry, but you're not too stupid to live. If you WERE too stupid to live, you would have said "I am obviously TO stupid to live." You didn't, and thusly gave yourself away.

Get some thread and sew those wrists back up.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

In case any of you were wondering:

The year is not 2008.

If you write 9/8/08 on a check to Homeland Security,

your package gets returned.

Off to slit my wrists now as I am obviously too stupid to live.

on the bright side, at least VSC didn't hold your check till 9/8/08 and process your petition then.

at least it's a mistake that didn't cause you alot of delay.

The amazing part of this, is that they sent it back only 8 days after you filed.

At least it didn't take them 30 or more days to return it you. That would have been much worse.

I guess you now have a second chance to review your entire packet.

You're absolutely right. I made my check out to my attorney and they kept it for 30 days before sending it back.

As you're going through VSC, your revised submission will probably get approved in 25 days anyway, so I don't consider this a big deal. In fact, I don't consider this a deal at all. Just a flick on the radar and it's gone.

You'll still be done with this part of the process before the vast majority of people who filed much earlier than you at CSC. So just chill and relax.

D's Wife, I also sent in a copy of the G-325 for my SO. I wonder if I'll receive a RFE. How long did it take to receive the RFE after your initial NOA1?
