IDK about Ghana but I can tell you when they need more information such as documents they put you in Admin Processing until the info is complete and the case is complete at the embassy.....they usually give you a 221g form that says they need more info and your case is in Admin processing...

Once you submit the documents and they are reviewed unless there is anything else such as us..(we hve name checks to complete now) then if the CO is satisfied they can complete the Admin process and issue visa

good luck...

Gather the information that they want and go back on the date that they gave you. Other than that, there is not much else you can do. When you do go back I would suggest going with all the proof of your relationship that you presented at the first interview and anything else you can add between now and your second appointment. This is pretty routine for the Ghana embassy and in most cases you are approved after the second interview.

a little off topic here - but can someone please explain to me how to join the Ghana portal?

thanks

You need to put your country as "Ghana" and then when you click on "Portals" above you will automatically be redirected there.

Wow what type of evidence did you bring to the interview, did you bring photos, holiday card, birthday cards, travel documents, phone records, Weston union receipts, etc. What are they looking for to proof you have a true relationship.

the letters from the parents are an awsome idea. also if they want more pictures, just make a photo album with you two, put pictures in there and give the whole album to them. thats what im gonna do too :D

You may not be able to provide all the evidence requested but you should take what is available. BUT you should not provide evidence of relationship created or dated after the day of your initial interview. The officer reviewing your case reserve the right to determine if the evidence provided is sufficient to reach a final decision in your case. Good luck...
