Question about Employment History and Residency

Hi everyone. I have two concerns

1 - During the summer I was at home, but for the school year I was in another state attending college. So for Residency should I put College: Fall - Spring, then Home - Summer and repeat that? Or just put my home address or college address for those years?

2 - I worked in the Mathematics department for a year of college so does that count as Employment? IE I write down BSC Math Lab? Or just stick with School/College/Unemployed?

Thank you very much for your responses.

Hi,

I just filled out the forms so I have a little bit of knowledge on this :)

My fiance and I are also recent college grads so for the residency forms I put my college address when I was attending classes and then my home address during the summer time. Personally if you had a winter break in between semesters, I wouldn't combine the fall/spring semesters as one entry. I put my home address in between fall and spring semesters (also because I was employed during that time). It took up a lot of space so I made a table in a word document and supplied the information as an attachment to my biographical form.

As for the employment, if you received a paycheck or stipend for the work then I would list it as employment. I think its a very fine line, for instance, I had an internship in the summer in between college a few years back where I earned a monthly stipend instead of an hourly rate. I did not have to claim this as income for my income taxes for that year but on my G-324A I still listed it as employment.

Hopefully this answered your concerns. Good luck!

I am the petitioner.
