Why not? Germany is holding up pretty well and would perhaps hold up better if they didn't have to support half of Europe.

Welcome to my world.

You don't "support" anyone.

Your country is fabulously independent!

My country has its issues. So does yours.

That said I grew out of playing "my dad can beat up your dad" when I was four. You haven't it seems.

That's probably because my dad saved your dad's rear end. More than once.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

British society has gone the way of their auto manufacturing...gone, gone, and gone. The greatest Brit ever imo (Churchill) was voted out right after WW2. This was the same man who kept that country motivated after Chamberlain appeased Hitler and gave Czechoslovakia to the Germans in what's known as the "Munich Agreement". This gave Hitler the go ahead to start WW2. That right there should say something.

two points of order (that sounds so official) even though Im sure it is misused. Churchill wasn't voted out , his party was, so he became leader of the opposition. WW2 was not quite over. yes the WW2 thing is nitpicking

It's just so sad though to see the Mother Country go by the way side into a deep dark hole of despair and oblivion. All we can do is watch from the side lines and see who survives in the end. :(

Well there's always the US, Canada and Australia left to keep up the good cheer. :)

You're really going to have to try harder, Kip.

Tell me please, but do you see another great migration of Brits into Northern Ireland in the near foreseeable future?
