I would and did get a letter from my employer with pay stubs kept by you. Don't worry about any extension as of yet. Your income is fine. If you filed taxes while in-school or parents filed claiming you, you can use them if you need. Have fun.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Thank you for your kind words. I will continue to keep records of my paystubs. Should I also be saving bank statements? And would me buying a car help much with the low assets problem? There's a lot of things on the I-134 I do not have. There is mention of bonds and such things. I don't have those.

You can get your bank to write a letter (they know about this K-1 thing and have a form letter). Embassy is not so much interested in balance but how long (average balance) is; typically 3,6 months is what the bank does; so, you don't want to deposit an unusually large amount when the time comes to get the letter. Length of account (the letter also states when account was opened) also matters.

Being that you guys are young I doubt there would be problems with assets. Your salary more than covers what is needed.

DOn't worry about bonds, etc; they are trying to provide lines for the most common assets people would have; but it is not meant that you have all those assets; but to combine as needed to demonstrate you can support spouse.
