Does anyone know What is the purpose of the medical exam? If for anyreason you have a positive test for an std will you be denied admittance into the us?

Purpose of the medical exam is to examine and determine like cases / other medical issues. STDs once prevented affected persons from entering the USA but that has since change and so you will be ok from what i once read few years ago.

Wrong. HIV was removed from the list, but gonorrhea and syphilis are still on the list. They WILL test for these at the medical.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
