Awww, everyone loves to bash California because it is liberal. Too bad what you said is a load of #######.

Is it? Governor Brown is supposedly a liberal. His recent policy decisions show where his priorities lie.

As for Wisconsin, the Democrats tried (and failed) to make a point. The financial contributions on both sides ran fairly similar, but with the unions making heavy contributions on the Democrat side, for obvious reasons. But the move did not succeed, and Governor Walker and the GOP staved off the Democrat challenge. That's democracy in action for you.

California loves their illegals. If anyone questions that, all they have to do is look at the laws California has proposed and pushed for in the past dozen years or so in regards to that subject. Illegal's and gay history in public schools...California lives for that kind of stuff.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I like California. Contrary to popular belief, it's a red state (with the exception of SF and parts of LA).

Well, most of the coastline goes to fruitcakes. San Francisco is a little town, and as big as the city Los Angeles is, it is the size of a spider on the refrigerator door, relatively speaking. But you are right, the greater San Francisco Bay Area is fruitloops, including my little piece of heaven in the North Bay.

They also passed "shall issue" concealed carry. Wisconsin is a red state now. Turns out they were doing exactly what the people wanted. Dems may have done better if they hadn't fled the state like a bunch or cowards.

I like California too. I lived in Sunnyvale for nearly 5 years. 45 min drive to the beach at Santa Cruz, 2 hours to wine country, about 4.5 hours to Tahoe and skiing. Truly a bit of heaven here on Earth. I left for a variety of reasons, but the Bay area housing market and the traffic on south bay freeways - particularly 85 and 237 - were the main reasons that drove me out.

Because you can hire a Chinaman to follow you around and do whatever you want for that kind of cash.

You realize that that makes absolutely no sense at all. You're not trying to debate with a statement like that, you're just being a prankster.

Democrats gained 2 seats, GOP retained the rest. Interesting 'loss.' Nice spin.

They needed to get 3 seats or have no chance of regaining the Senate. LOSERS!

Who knows? At least now, Gov Walker seems to be singing a different tune to his 'my way or the highway' approach from a few months back. Seems he might be concerned for his own future, be it via recall, or via the next scheduled election.

You seem to be the only Dem pleased with the results

If the Dems will stay in the state they may have more influence than running away

How else can I explain to you than $5,000 per person is a lot of money?

You can hire a Chinese bodyguard for every man, woman and child in America - won't even need the military.

How many interstate highways do these bodyguards build or maintain? How many aircraft control towers do they man? How many FDA inspectors does that send out to look for salmonella in our meat packing plants? Do I really need to enumerate the myriad vital services to our modern economy provided by our tax dollars? If you really think that importing 300 million Chinese into the USA at a "cost" of $5000 each is a solution to our nation's problems, then I have nothing more to say. You're nuts if you believe that, and I'm actually quite sure that you don't.
