Hi,

I applied CR-1/I-130 through my attorney, today I received the notice of action; but it's from CSC, I am in New Jersey, shouldn't it be VSC?

CSC is slower than VSC, correct?

I have to ask my attorney tomorrow to find out why my application was submitted to CSC.

thanks!

Doesn't matter. These thing get transferred all the time depending on workload. As long as you got your notice that is all that is important. I doubt your attorney will be able to give you a better explanation. Sometimes one is faster than another, but in the overall scope of things the difference is minimal.

Hi! My husband (the petitioner) is from NJ too and our case was routed to CSC. I think thats more of a blessing since as per statistics here in VJ, the average processing time in CSC is 70-90 days. Ive seen here in some posts from VSC filers that they waited for 4 months already and yet to no avail of NOA-2.
