Recevied passport but not the naturalization certificate yet

We applied for US passport at the oath ceremony. We received the passport but haven't received the naturalization certificate. Anyone here experienced similar issues?

How long would it take for them to mail us this certificate back? Is there a number I can call to check on the status?

They send it separately. This is normal.

10FEB11: FedEx I129F Packet to Lewisville, TX

14FEB11: NOA1 "Received Date"

18FEB11: Touched

17JUN11: NOA2 hard copy

19JUL11: NVC Received

21JUL11: Embassy Received

25JUL11: Packet 3 Sent from Embassy

03AUG11: Emailed packet 3 to Embassy

07SEP11: Interview

Wow . . . you are a brave soul. I wouldn't have given my Certificate away without making a scan and a photocopy first. Since most people don't have those devices on them, applying for a passport at the Oath Ceremony is way too risky for my taste.

I hope you at least applied for a passport book and a passport card at the same time so that you have a backup in case one gets lost or damaged and don't want to wait a year or longer for a replacement certificate?
