Hello everyone. I am an U.S.C, who applied for my brother on Feb. 21, 2002. About a year ago, before the huge 2 year jump back, I started the process of forms. For example, filled out all the fees, and currently I just sent all the paper work. I called them and they said that NVC has received checklist letter response,(all paperwork, and nothing is missing) they just received them yesterday. Anyone shed some light on whats going to happen? Is the interview going to be scheduled? Any response will be appreciated!

You have a bit more of a wait ahead. Visa bulletin has retrogressed towards the end of 2010 and still has not gone back to previous levels.

Currently, they're processing applications in the F4 category filed on or before 08APR00

Ahhh, this waiting is horrible. But why did they start the process of paperwork? Is this normal with other cases in the F4 category?

It seems to be happening even with the F2A cases (spouses and children of LPR). Perhaps they want everything in order once the visa bulletin picks up so they can just start scheduling interviews - at this time, it's all just a guessing game.
