A'ight, we've got an RFE on our case with priority date 8/11. Question: We've supplied our international marriage certificate (including English) but they still need an approved English translation. This common?

Sorry about the RFE, but I'm hopeful that they will be quick to decide after you give them what they need. :-) Was the english marriage certificate you sent them from a certified agency or something like that?

To the poster who got an RFE for missing birth certificate - How can they give an RFE for missing borth certificate? A birth certificate is not required with the I-130. Is this what you used to prove the petitioner's US citizenship?

An August 19, 2011 Priority Date for NOA1 still waiting! Keeping those fingers crossed! Just got off the phone with actually a really nice person at USCIS and they told me that CSC's official processing time is up to Aug 2, 2011 so no possibility of a service request yet! I actually contacted my congresswoman's Immigration Liaison on Feb. 10, 2012, had her file a service request and received a reply that they're working as hard as they can, so no change there. Hope they keep working hard at the CSC!
