Progress my ####. Following the timelines, i was supposed to be approved early November, which seemed reasonable to me. Now it is early January 2012!!! So as for progress... I don't see it?! Why not

I just called USCIS today and spoke to Tier 1 and Tier 2. She told me that it didn't look like an officer had been assigned to my case yet and they are still working on June and July applications. WTH?!! The first guy told me I had to wait another 48 days before I could file a whatchamacallit???

It escapes me at the moment I'm writing this. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes that is really frustrating.....I was told the same thing, yesterday. They aid my case was not yet assigned to anyone, which is nut. Especially when you see people with the same priority date being approved!!!

Glad to see all the recent approvals ... But kinda sad that we have not gotten ours yet.... August 17 priority date.... And have a feeling the shananagins of the idiot who was arrested in DC will slow things up for Morocco filers .... Congrats to all with approvals and I hope it is a smooth process from this point on for you all :0)

August 24th NOA 1.. Got the NOA 2 today. APPROVED.! : )

same priority date as me...REALLY?! Congrats! :D

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

Got our NOA2 on Feb. 17th!! :D

NOA1 date was Aug. 16th. We received a RFE late Jan. They asked for a copy of our marriage certificate saying it was lost, yet they sent the original back with the same letter! (Still confused over that one tbh)

CSC: it's very much a hit and a miss who you speak to. Some stick by the rule book, others 'let slip' how busy they are, and all seem not to be able to do anything regarding the case. When I think of CSC I somehow conjure the image of an aircraft hanger devoid of planes but full of folders with paper gusting about everywhere getting lost!

Wife's Senator was lacking in energy in tackling the case. Very much "Oh we have to do this". It seemed as though they would meekly ask the service centre and "hope" for an answer. Maybe others have had better experiences with their representatives?

Oh well, onto the next step and all that...

Hi August filer here as well still awaiting NOA2.....NOA1 August 19th. I contacted USCIS this morning and I was told to contact them next month, they agent said they are still working on July 12th.
