Got a reply from my senatore office, our case should be processed within 10 working days according to csc. And the person from the senators office promised she'd be on it and if we have not heard anything within then she would pull every favour she had at the csc to get it done. She was not happy with the way they treat us immigrants. I like when people like that show a little passion about their job!

Finally, to the point of this post: My I-130 petition was approved today (Feb 16, 2012) by CSC. Mine was an Aug 19, 2011 priority date.

Can someone explain to me the difference between a regular I-130 filing and a "Priority" I-130 filing?

I think we're all regular I-130 filings, unless we expedite. If you look on your NOA1, you're given a priority date too :)
