hello every body, it's my first time to post a comment over here, want to be a friend with all of you, one of my relative is a father of an American citizen who filed him a year ago, and his case is completed the third week of May, and till now they haven't got any email to indicate the date of the interview, each time they call the NVC, the operator tell them that it depends on the embassy here in Cairo, do you have any idea how long it takes to determine just a date? thanks a lot for your help,,,

Many thanks Marymina for your prompt answer, problem is that they wants to move as early as they can, as they will have their first grand son in October, so hopefully that they will take less than 6 months, to be there at time, let's pray for them, and wish you all a very good luck,

Yeah it worth trying

its my understanding that the NVC would be able to tell you about your interview date when it come to immigration Visa

it been always like that, I didnt see anywhere they change that procedure though

If NVC said no interview yet cz the embassy is busy, then send and wait and pray :)

Good Luck

what u can try u can email the embassy and ask them to exbadite their case maybe they will do but it worth a try u won't lose anything
