found out today that a passport is required for the interview portion of the I-129f application.

My fiancee does not have a passport.

How difficult and how long does it take to get a passport in Mexico?

I'm not sure how long it takes for a passport to be issued in Mexico. But without a passport her visa cannot be issued.

How did you fill in her G-325 form without her passport number?

G-325 doesn't ask for passport number

Your fiance will need her passport until her interview in Ciudad Juarez. My novio still hasn't gone to go get his passport and he will be going soon since I submitted the petition in late June it's about time that he goes. THe last time he got his passport it took about a week to arrive in the mail, but he only got a passport for a year. I don't know if the time it takes to process a passport is the same everywhere in Mexico, but I know that it was very simple for him to go get it and he had it within a couple of days.

It would be easy if your fiancee goes to a "District" Passport office. She can get it next day or if she goes early in the morning 8 or 9 she can get it same day!

The beneficiary's only asked to send G-325A duly signed. Oh, and the passport picture.

I think I sent it as proof of meeting. My visa to PR and stamp.

Sorry, I really thought we needed the passport at first level.

She's from Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico

I'm going to see her Thursday, hopefully when

I'm there we will be able to get or at least apply

for a Passport.
