Hello everyone, here i am starting with my questions :P

About the criminal record (i am the beneficary) for the interview, they say you need it from all the places you lived after you got 16 years. They mean in same country or? I lived in 2 towns so that means i have to get it from both places? I called the police and they said it is available 3 months, hope they know what they talking...

Ok, second question... if my fiance it is self employed we need the IRS and the bank thing (account, balance etc) right?

Well that is all for now but i will be back woth other questions for sure hehe. Thank you in advance for the answers and the infos. :help::luv:

I believe you need a check from everywhere you lived, since you were 16, for 6 months or more. Can someone clarify this?

Lavi-you need ONE police report aka "cazier" from Romania. You need to go to your local police station and request one. Make sure you plan your request when you are getting close enough to go to the embassy in Bucharest for your K1 visa. Once that police report is issued, it is valid for 3 months. Yes, the police knows what they are talking about.

Ok, i thought same but to be sure i think i am gonna call and ask the embassy, i hope you are right tho. I took my "cazier" from the place i live now, today, 9 august and it is available until 9 november and i think and hopeeee by that time we will have the visa, if not i will take an other one coz since my criminal record is clear it took just few min to have it. Thank you very much for the infos. :)

If he's self employed, he probably knows about 1099 form for IRS and letter from his bank or simply bank statement. That's the one you need, as far as I know. But do a little more research and don't rely on this answer alone.

I have lived in romania prior to moving to Norway and i needed a police certificate for the time i lived there. My police certificate was valid for a year, not sure if this is a regular procedure. Its already been processed and accepted by the embassy and was getting very close to its expeiration date.
