Police Check came back eek! Help!!

Ok so my British hubby got his police check done as our case is at NVC, it shows a minor charge for vanalism at age 16, fine 160pounds, i cant remember if on the I-130 it asked if he had ever been arrested before, but im sure we would have put no as he was told it was wiped from his record at 18, now he for sure cant get the court record as again, it as destroyed at 18, is this going to be a problem, i no on the ds 230 he will now have to put the charge, will this affect us in anyway?

They may raise the question why this wasn't declared on the I-130. Just explain truthfully. It is a reasonable mistake.

You should probably get whatever records exist at the court. If it showed up on the police clearance then some type of record has been retained.
