Oh yeah, I got duped into that black pudding taste test once.

You know what else they say: fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, errr, won't be fooled again. ;)

Yes, black pudding is gross. Although weirdly the only time my USC wife got to try it, it was oddly good. "Oddly" because I grew up eating it and always hated it. I was so shocked, the next day I had some with breakfast (a different place) and it was the same old gross stuff again.

Clearly only Stratford-upon-Avon has good black pudding. ;)

I dunno, most US food manufacturers could be accused of the same 'crime';)

I get frozen haggis from a UK foods store near Boston. It's run by a Scot and she imports sausages, haggis and black pudding from a butcher in Scotland. The stuff is top quality. She doesn't have an online store, but I bet if a fellow Scot called her she would be more than willing to help out. Don't send it in the mail from the UK. Yes, it would get stopped by customs, and you'd have to send it overnight in a cool container anyway which would cost a bomb. I think it would even cost a bomb to buy it over here as the same overnight shipping would have to apply in order for it to get to him safely.

I love the stuff. Nice with a roast chicken

Oh! Oh! I am moving to Boston to be with my husband and have fallen upon your post in manner of hungry Rottweiler! Where is the shop? Whereisitwhereisitwhereisitwhereisit?? :goofy:

Depending on where you are, these folks make really good meat pies at least, I am not sure about their haggis but it must be nice:

The Brits must have made quite an impression to have these little places in the US :)

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

It's called the Union Jack in Peabody. It's on Newbury Street near the mini dealer. It looks a complete dive but they have everything you may crave! Ask for what stuff she may have in the back freezer to get the really good chipolatas and stuff. Not badly priced either

There is also British Delights in Chelmsford, MA. I would bother with online odering. They're a pain in the #######! Best to visit the shop instead.

You can also get to Trader Joes all around MA that have really good quality food and very cheap.
