What is the poverty line for the United Staes? Rhode Island in particular? How do you determine if you are 125% over it????? thanks...todd

You can find it here... just look at the number of ppl in the household... it would include the petitioner and beneficiary (or beneficiaries if there is more than one) as well as any other dependants of the petitioner...

Ex. I have 5...me, our three daughters and my husband in pakistan who is the beneficiary

It continues to baffle me. I easily make much more than that number, so that is good, rihgt/??...todd

Yes if your above that it should be fine. Mine says 32,712 and I made about $500 over but included assets... we were held up for a few weeks as they wanted a document to verify household size ( my apt lease) and after review they approved it.

you shouldn't have any worries and btw that is GROSS income not income after taxes.
