In less than 14 hours the love of my life will be landing in Detroit aboard Delta Airlines. We have waited patiently for this day to ultimately arrive. I can't wait to see her and the kids walk out of that international terminal and into my open and welcoming arms!!! Some of you have already been there and done it and too many of you await that special day in your lives. I have never been more certain about my feelings for the Love Of My Life who will be greeted with the warmest embrace imaginable. I know they will be exhausted and with butterflies inside their stomachs hence being in a foreign land for the first time. I always say to them that this will be the most amazing adventure of your lives. I want to play a big part in that adventure. Life will be different and the cultural changes immense. I am so excited I can't stand it any longer. I want to hold them now!!!!!!!!!!

Are they here yet? I know we may not get this until a couple of days later but Congratulations...That is awsome. Oh what a feeling. Waiting for my day as well.

oooo this gave me goosebumps... My experience was mixed very much. We were going to wait for my wife to come to the USA but I had a heart attack and was very helpless in many ways so she came quicker than we planned, mixed feelings, but amazing experience to see the love of your life come through the gate (L)(L)(L)(L)

08-1x-2014 - N-400 package accepted

08-20-2014 - Check cashed

09-xx-2014 - NOA bio-metrics appointment

09-18-2014 - Bio-metrics appointment Columbus office

09-22-2014 - NOA letter scheduled interview 10-30-2014

10-30-2014 - Naturalization interview and test Columbus Ohio office.

Application changed to five year as mark reached while waiting for interview

Passed civic test and interview recommends approval !!!

10-30-2014 - NOA hand letter stating recommendation for approval and wait for letter of approval and oath
11-13-2014 - Case Status updated "We scheduled your oath ceremony"

11-14-2014 - NOA letter final interview and oath Tuesday 11-25-2014

11-25-2014 - Final red tape and oath ceremony Columbus, Ohio Officially a US Citizen!!!

- Applied US Passport at local post office

08-2016 - Received 10 year Q2 visa to visit China as a US citizen
