Hi... sorry, I don't have an answer to your question. Just thought I would let you know that you are not alone.

We applied in June and received NOA1 June 29 for AOS and AP. I have my biometrics on August 11th but the apt letter says only AOS, no mention of EAD. To date - still nothing about my EAD and I am getting desperate to work. Of course, it won't be an issue IF AOS comes through quickly, but how do you know when to worry?! I need to work ASAP and my timeline on VJ suggests that I will likely get EAD the last week of August. I can manage until then, but not much longer.

Good luck. I don't think it is a big deal but will admit that now that it is August, I am feeling anxious about it.

Adjusting from K-1

06/24/11 - mailed AOS/EAD/AP applications to Chicago Lockbox

06/29/11 - received email notification of arrival

08/05/11 - still no word on EAD - no RFE, no NOA... Wondering if this is something to worry about?!

08/11/11 - biometrics apt in Fairbanks (apt letter listed AOS only)

Received TXT receipt for AOS and AP but not EAD. Will I not get one for the EAD submission?

You should. If you have not it's likely they've lost your application and are NOT processing it. I suggest you call the information line to ask them. Usually your NOA1 numbers will only be 1 digit apart. So check your numbers. Do NOT wait. If they haven't received it you'll need to send another application and will need to wait until the NOA1 from the AOS in order for the fee to be waived on it.

if you didn't get the NOA1 it's likely they lost it and aren't processing it, so I wouldn't rely on a timeline for the EAD because you technically "didn't file" if they lost it so there's no timeline for you.

As I suggested to the OP above, call the information line and see if they have the EAD on file (then you can stress less). You SHOULD have received a biometrics letter for EAD so not getting that definitely implies they lost it. If they lost it you can refile but it will still take 2 months and you would hopefully have your GC by then.

Filed EAD with AOS and AP. Did not get NOA1 with other NOA's. Called USCIS on Aug 10. Service request started to find I-765 that was submitted with AOS and AP.
