22 Nov 10 - NOA1

29 Apr 11 - NOA2

09 May 11 - NVC receive, medical booked

11 May 11 - NVC complete

12 May 11 - NVC depart & packet 3 forms sent

16 May 11 - Consulate receive package from NVC and packet 3 forms

18 May 11 - Consulate log electronic application from NVC

23 May 11 - Consulate log physical package and packet 3

25 May 11 - Packet 3 franked at US embassy

26 May 11 - Packet 3 arrives & MRV fee paid

31 May 11 - Medical

23 Jun 11 - Packet 4 received

13 Jul 11 - Interview

19 Jul 11 - Visa received & US entry

AOS & EAD

11 Aug 11 - Noa1

13 Sep 11 - Biometrics apt

18 Oct 11 - EAD approved - card ordered

1 Nov 11 - AOS interview

i recieved my I-129 today, let the fun begin... Step one...and i want be sure i do everything perfect (As well as i can)

soo help me out what are some tips and pointers that absolutly can not leave out

or forget.!! =]

A few tips:

First, I'd say do not forget to make copies of everything.

Having a good primary evidence to show that you have seen in the last two years (boarding tickets, passport stamps, hotel receipts, etc).

I put little notes in each section (post it) adding explanations.

And do not forget in the passport photo of each of you write the name on the back.

Visa Journey itself provides most everything you could possibly need.

The Alex&Mari is right, MAKE COPIES! We just had our interview and those copies really came in handy.

All the other info given was great too, just one more thing I would like to add is: CHECK, RECHECK, HAVE SOMEONE ELSE HELP YOU CHECK and CHECK AGAIN!!! The last thing you want is an RFE for something dumb. Also one more thing, send it FedEx asking for a confirmation of receipt.

Good luck to you and the yes that wait totally sucks, but it is worth it. When you get down, come here, we will help you. :thumbs:

12-27-2010: I-129F arrived at USCIS sent packet on 12/23

12-29-2010: Notice date on NOA1

12-31-2010: Check cleared

01-02-2011: NOA1 received via SMS & E-Mail

01-06-2011: NOA1 hardcopy received via USPS[/color]

2-17-2011:Touched

04/12/2011:NOA2!!!!!

4-18-11: Received by NVC

4-20-11: Left NVC

4-24-11: Received by the consulate in Abu Dhabi

4-27-11:Received both packet 3 & 4 via e-mail from Abu Dhabi

7-25-11:Interview date-Administrative Processing

8-3-11:Administrative Processing ended - APPROVED!!!!!! :D

8-25-11:POE-SFO

9-10-11:Married!!!

9-26-11:Sent AOS Packet

10-6-11:Received NOA1s via text and E-mail

10-9-11:NOA1 hardcopies received, along with biometrics appointment letter

10-25-11:Biometrics Appointment
