AOS Fees

Hello Vjs! God's will, we get approved for K-1 and K-2 visas, then, after marriage in the US, we have to apply for AOS, how much we need to prepare for the AOS? I have 2 kids with me, 7 and 13 years old. Just wanna know so we can prepare our budget. Hoping someone could help me figure it out. And, btw, do we have to file it separately ?

Its all in the AOS instructions on USCIS website.

For applicants under 14 years of age:

Filing with the I-485 application of at least one parent have a fee total of $635;

Not filing with the I-485 application of at least one parent have a fee total of $985.

$985. (Add $85 biometric fee for a total of $1070, where applicable. See the form instructions for payment details.) You must make your check payable to Department of Homeland Security.

you will have 2 fees for $635

and one fee for $1070

Total : $2340

You file all 3 applications together.
