K3 visa\open my business in the USA?

Hello guys,

I just got a k3 visa at the Naples consulate in Italy, with my wife(USA citizen)in september we will be moving to the USA and I have the following questions:

How can i be able to open my own business in the USA and most of all can I ? I'm an artisan and I want to do the same work i did in italy for many years having my company in the US.

How can I have the SSN?

Any other information is great!.............. :thumbs:

Once you do Adjustment of Status http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos you'll get a green card which will allow you to work. K-3 does NOT allow you to work until you have either an EAD or GC.

Are you sure you have a K3 visa instead of a CR1 or IR1 visa? Does it say K3 on it anywhere? What is the expiration date?

Obtaining a K3 visa would be an extremely rare thing in 2011. Please look closely.
