just tax it! :hehe:

Two easist and most taxed things in life... booze and smokes. Booze and smokes pay for a lot of government projects.

Hey, you will probably outlive us all with your lifestyle , so no need to brag how much fun you have!

My grandpa smoked, chewed, and drank like a fish not to mention he was screwing bar maids and whores in his 80's and he lived to age 94. B-)

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Push mower. Good exercise. Even better, plant ground cover that doesn't need trimming, or watering.

All those houses in that pic look identical...like military housing or something.

why does libertarians matter in this? and where's that violin playing?

so you didn't have a problem with it before it was against the law, since after all, the law allowed it?

Before the law every bar was "smoking", now its not. Believe it or not there is no public outrage about people not being able to smoke inside public buildings. It's a non issue.

If you choose to go into an establishment that allows smoking...then that's your choice. Nobody held a gun to your head and forced you to go into said establishment did they? Or did they ?

If you choose to jump in front of a moving train..that's your choice. If you choose to take a loaded gun and blow your brains all over the wall...that again is your choice. You afraid of making your own decisions?

As I illustrated earlier those are not choices. Again, you cannot choose to sell yourself into slavery, that's not freedom.

You mean people are forcing other people to go into bars where the owner allows smoking against their will? OMG say it aint so. How about non smokers build/purchase a bar and make it non smoking instead of forcing their will on others?

It should be up to the bar OWNER to choose whether or not to make his/her establishment smoking or non smoking.

Do you know what "freedom of choice" means? If not, google it.

Yes kip, I know what it means.

Here it used to be that all bars were "smoking", which meant that everyone who didn't smoke had to stay home or put up with it, getting your clothes and hair stinking. Now it's the other way around. Now everyone can go out without being exposed to something they don't want to and all smokers have to do is smoke outside. Seems fair to me, it's your habit why should you get accommodated and everyone else gets to go whistle.

Don't like it? Boo fvcking hoo. Stay in alaska.

In the US ...it "used to be" that any bar owner could choose to allow smoking or to not allow in "their establishment". If all the bar owners choose to allow smoking that should say something right there. If bar owners choose to not allow smoking in "their establishment" that again is "their choice". Again it's the choice ...or was the choice of the bar owner whether to allow or not allow smoking in their establishment. I'm sure if non smoking bars was a hit, then there would be some bar owners choosing not to allow smoking.

Bar owners are subject to the law of the land. You can't sell alcohol to minors or after hours, that's the law too. Smokers? ** em, let them smoke outside, it's not a hardship

So what you are saying then is that bar owners should not have the choice to allow smoking or not to allow smoking in their establishments and that adults shouldn't have the choice to enter a bar that allows smoking?

No freedom of choice eh? Why am I not surprised.

 if it's a non issue then why are we discussing this? the mere fact that several have said something about it makes your point invalid.
