So, I can't go to any commercial establishment, or walk down any sidewalk where I might have to encounter the stench of cigarettes? How is that freedom?

You can go where you choose to go. If you don't like the fact the owner of an establishment allows smoking...then talk to him/her and see if they will ban smoking for you. If the "owner chooses not to ban smoking"...it's their choice. If you "choose not to go into said establishments, than again that's "your choice". It's all about "choices".

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Here's an idea. If the owner refuses to ban smoking, then buy the owner out so you can make the rules. If they choose not to sell out to you...build your own, or go somewhere smoking isn't allowed. Don't force your will upon the "owner" to make their "own choices" of how they "choose" to run "their business".

So, we don't need health inspectors to make sure the food won't make you sick, or fire inspectors to make sure you don't get caught in a burning building? How far are you willing to take caveat emptor?

Or let's compare the price of rice in China to the price of apples here in the US.

If I didn't know any better, I would have guessed fishdude hijacked our account on here.

There's nothing like bellying up to the bar, smoking my camel (straights ftw...filters are for pyss's), and having a bud on tap along with a greasy cheeseburger. :)

No. I just hate the stink of recreational smoke, be it tobacco, marijuana, opium, crack, or ice.

And some vegitarian is sickened at the thought and smell of meat being cooked.

Why he can also point out the heart disease and assorted health related problems attributed to it....... does he too have the right to ban meat from being cooked and consumed in public access places?

bbq?

I wouldn't be surprised if that's somewhere on the ban list also. I mean hey, if people enjoy it...then ban it.

It's not like the yup libs have their own organic non steroid, tofu sprouts...and some other awful tasting ####### at some commie lib food establishments to eat at, now they have to screw with places like McDonalds.

They don't want you to have freedom of choice. They want to control every thing in and about your life.
