Sent AOS about a month ago, NO word

We sent our AOS over a month ago, and haven't heard anything back... I just noticed on VJ that people sent a check! We didn't send any money... Could this be the reason? If so, Can we send a check somehow?

Your case will be rejected and sent back to you when they get around to it. You need to attach all documentation, evidence, etc. and payment for the AOS.

The check was for $1450. That's $1,070 for I-485, and $380 for I-765...

The I-765 is free when filed with the I-485

If everyone will stop to READ. The check he sent was for $1450. It is the wrong amount. He did not say he sent two checks. The case will be rejected.

The OP needs to take a few days to study the guides, ask questions, prepare the application properly with all supporting documents (affidavit of support, proof of marriage, etc.)new G-325a for his wife and all that is necessary for the I-485 including TWO passport photos ofr each application (I-485 and I-765)

This is RARE. The OP sent one check so they will reject the package. You send more than one check they MIGHT send the extra back but normally they would just reject it all
