i read some posts here of some Pinays also who received their visas with a half inch torn brown envelop and they said it's normal. just take your passport out of it but never fully open it cause immigrant officer at POE will do it for you. hope i am correct with this, if not please say so..

When i got mine there was a small cut in one of the sides of the envelop and its normal.. Just carefully retrieve your passport. Anyway youll find the passport outside the envelop so you are fine.. If you find a really bad torn in the envelop then try calling the embassy.

its on the lower part of the diagonal cut of the brown envelope.and its half inch long cut on it.im so worried and i didint even get my passport inside yet becoz aim afraid. where could i find my visa?

Do no worry about it Preciousone mine had a tiny cut too and I did not have any problem(thank God) when I get to my POE.

Your visa is printed inside your passport. You can open the plastic and get your passport.

God bless and Good luck

just cut the middle of the plastic, long enought that the passport fit when u take it out. so its clean and its still sealed.

Retrieve your passport, as long as sealed envelope is ok you should be good to go. If a question get a hold of the embassy, lots of comments on this problem lately.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I think you can take your son's BC out of the plastic too. All you have to give at POE is the brown envelope that has all your docs. In my interview the pre-screener asked for my son's BC, when I receive my visa packet my son's BC is folded outside the brown envelope along with the instructions. So i guess it's not needed.
