We actually were introduced through mutual friends, but technically it was online because I was chatting on Yahoo at the time with my friends using a web cam and there she was. "This is our friend, Jinky. She's a dentist." All I see is this really young looking woman wearing a baseball cap - nothing about her looked like a dentist. We chatted for about 30 minutes, talking about teeth and noticing that we both have gaps between our front teeth. She was down to earth and she looked cute, but I was dating someone else at the time and thought nothing about it. Five months later, after breaking up with my gf, I saw her profile on Friendster, under my friend's list of friends and sent her a message. Then it took a few weeks of exchanging short messages before we decided to meet online again. That's the truth...no Star Trek Convention..but she'd make a really hot looking Klingon warrior.

We met online in August 1999. We talked by messenger and phone for a couple of months before I flew to US for our first meeting.

We have been together ever since. I'd hate to calculate how much we've spent on phone calls and airfares during the last 7 years.

OMG 7 years!!! Where has the time gone????? Why didn't we start this visa process a couple years ago??
