Nope. But I used 'the internet' as a lure to get him.. he didn't know how to use it for anything and needed help. I traded him for a ride to the next village.

Mutual friends introduced us.

We met at a Star Trek convention.

Why am I not surprised? :P

Just kiddin', I'm a HUGE Trekkie nerd (although only TNG). I have a slight crush on Data.

I was joking...sorry for the confusion.

We actually were introduced through mutual friends, but technically it was online because I was chatting on Yahoo at the time with my friends using a web cam and there she was. "This is our friend, Jinky. She's a dentist." All I see is this really young looking woman wearing a baseball cap - nothing about her looked like a dentist. We chatted for about 30 minutes, talking about teeth and noticing that we both have gaps between our front teeth. She was down to earth and she looked cute, but I was dating someone else at the time and thought nothing about it. Five months later, after breaking up with my gf, I saw her profile on Friendster, under my friend's list of friends and sent her a message. Then it took a few weeks of exchanging short messages before we decided to meet online again. :star: That's the truth...no Star Trek Convention..but she'd make a really hot looking Klingon warrior. :P

Oh, haha, I was wondering if you were serious. And my friend, who WOULDN'T make a hot Klingon warrior? ;) ;)

We met online too.

On AOL via the member search tool via circumstances & hobbies in 2000.

Then met physically in 2005.

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

Not exactly ... he posted online on a religious-discussion message board we both used to read about a tour his choir was making of the East Coast of the US and one of the concerts was near my house, so my best friend and I went, and we met there. So our first contact was online, but we don't really count that.
