My fiancée got the Police certificate today and the certificate is in German language. Is German language acceptable at the US embassy in Germany? Does she need to translate it or get another one in English?

They accept it in german language at Frankfurt embassy. You don't have to translate it. Mine was in german too, no problem.

You do NOT need to get a translation. German is accepted at the Frankfurt Consulate, the documents have to be either in English or in the language of the country where the U.S. Embassy is in. I was fine, too.

I'm really surprised people who have no experience with the Consulate in Germany just blurt out false information :bonk:
