We got our rfe today. Since our I-129F form states that GG is from Phil they want proof that she was in Jordan when I traveled there. She is on a work visa in Jordan. She hasn't been to Phil since July '09.

Basically here is what we are going to do to prove that she was in Jordan in April 2011.

We are going to get a letter from her employer stating that she was in Jordan in April of 2011.

Her work certificate.

Photocopy of her Work ID

Her residence visa photocopy

Photocopy of passport entry to Jordan stamp

Uscis said to include a cover letter explaining her situation and include passport stamps ticket stubs and pictures again.

Anyone else have any suggestions of how to prove this? Thanks.

Did you list her address in Jordan on her G-325A and/or I-129F. It sounds like you didn't. Does she get mail at her address in Jordan? You can probably also have her scan these envelopes with her name and address on then and have her email them to you. Any receipt or tickets traveling together will work also. It sounds like you have good proof already like employment letter there and proof of residency there and all that.

Thats something that they definitely need to know, good luck.

Yes they were listed that is why I don't understand why we got a rfe. It's like they didn't bother to look at the form completely. Also her mail goes to the hospital. We also sent in the hotel receipt that GG paid for.

Don't really no but definitely do what they ask and write a complete explanation of how she works and lives there and all that. Maybe they need double confirmation from you. Yes it seems sometimes they overlook things. Also remember Jordan may fall under the set of countries that they look at your application much more strictly for.

Yea I talked to an USCIS officer the day we got the rfe he suggested I write a cover letter explaining her situation. Also said I should include all my photos and all evidence over plus additional evidence. Anyways looks like we have a handle on things now just have to wait for GG to send it all to me.

We aren't able to get the letter stating that she was in Jordan during April 2011 because one person refused to sign it.

We got the following items :

Photocopies of all pages of her passport

Copy of her work certificate stated she is in Jordan work from Nov 09 to present

Photocopy of her residency visa

Photocopy of her work id

Some kind of form stating that she has not left Jordan.

Everyone do you think that is enough?
