hi.

I m a citizen of Pakistan(Karachi).I am filing the DS230 form and gathering all the documents to be attached with this form.

I visited Muscat(Oman) first on family visa(with my husband) on 1992(Nov) and returned to Pakistan on 1993 April. The next visit was paid on 1994(sept) and I came back to my country on March 1995 and the third visit was from 1997(Jan_July).I Didn't stay there for continuous 12 months.

Thus the confusion arising here is ,"Is a police certificate needed in this situation?" It isn't easy to acquire police certificate from overseas countries. Also,I have read somewhere in the visa website that police certificate should only be made if a person has lived abroad for 12 months.

Awaiting suggestions and solutions.

Thank you for giving your precious time to read this.
