The AVR NEVER updated right away with any of the steps on our case. It always updated overnight. So I wouldnt say that it updates automatically the instant it's done. That's not true.

Well I am like many of you. I had SIF last week and my case is still on final review. Ugh... I feel like I am stalking them for calling so much but it gets frustrating when others get SIF and then case complete same day or next day.

SIF is not always a certain Case Complete situation, so best call NVC and get confirmation. It takes another 10 - 15 days (depends on each country/ consulate) to get the interview email.

USA

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)

we had an RFE from the NVC which delayed us a bit, but just got the SIF this morning. Called the NVC and they said case is completed and approved as of this morning. We should hear about the interview scheduling soon. Hoping we get an early/mid september date !

Called into the AVR just now.. it said "Your case has been reviewed and we have found information missing or incomplete on your financial evidence. A checklist was mailed out to you on August 9th." I was in a mild panic and called the NVC operators to see what was wrong.. While on hold it occurred to me this might be a false RFE because they have reviewed the IV packet and not the AOS packet..

I was finally able to talk to the NVC operator and found that the DS-230 and information have been reviewed with no problems (good news there) and that there was an "open checklist" with mail pending.. So apparently they have not looked at the AOS packet yet.. Sheeew! - Getting closer!

Hi Everyone. I just joined however I've been using this board for advice. I'm in a similar boat as you all waiting for the NVC to complete our case. I called today after they had told me they hadn't received any of the forms yet (I sent them all last week) and the woman I spoke to informed me that my AOS was fine and approved however they did not receive the IV and to wait 20 days after I sent it....hoping something happens soon for all of you and myself!

My IV and your AOS were delivered on 8/1 and were processed. They haven't yet got to my 8/3 received AOS, and you IV was received on 8/4 - you are fine. The 20 days songs has become familiar to all by now - it is their safe timeline. We should be done in this week.
