As for whoever is talking about what bureaucratic bullcrap we will have to deal with in *two* years, I just have to say, I don't want to hear it! I have changed countries three times in three years, and dealing with visa, upon visa, and now my husband's, and not to mention the driver's licenses, etc... I am exhausted

Let's pretend that this will be the end of our journey. It's not, but let's just have a little denial for now, I think we deserve it.

My daughter's case has been closed and completed. Just waiting for appointment date which I ill try to re-schedule in November because I am going home.

Just received an RFE for Police Passport Clearance Cert. I knew this was coming as we can't get one in our particular region of India until we get an official interview letter.

I called and made sure everything was still ok and it was. We're still in line for interview...

I had the same issue ....they did not close my case eventhough i had mentioned that in the ocver letter .I sent an email mentioning the unavailability and later talked to the supervisor then they closed the case .

Do you have a case close already ? then you are fine or talk to a supervisor .The operators kept telling me they are aware for mubai consulate but didnt close my case...so check with supervisor

My case was closed on Aug. 23rd.

After receiving this RFE this morning I called and made sure that it was still closed and not re-opened. It is closed and we are in line for interview.

Today after the "20 day" song, the phone rep & I had a 5 minute conversation about earthquakes & hurricane preparedness.

I told rep how yesterday I told 5 year old daughter that the best we can hope for is to have Daddy home by Christmas (setting expectations very low). Saying it out loud made me cry. drn it.

Can u schedule ur interview in PI? I mean once we get the interview date do u think we can call to try to change it later or earlier the stated?
