The AVR NEVER updated right away with any of the steps on our case. It always updated overnight. So I wouldnt say that it updates automatically the instant it's done. That's not true.

Spouse's Journey (F2A) - USCIS
02/22/2011 - Filed I-130 as F2A
02/28/2011 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
06/16/2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)

NOA2 to NVC (32 days to get Case number)
NVC: (28 days)
07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
08/02/2011 - DS-3032 received by NVC.
08/03/2011 - IV Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
08/04/2011 - IV Fee Bill invoice shows "PAID" and DS-230 package mailed to NVC.
08/16/2011 - SIF & Case Completed

08/29/2011 - Interview Email.
New Delhi Consulate:
10/06/2011 - Medical Done.
10/17/2011 - Interview Date and Visa Approved !
10/20/2011 - Passport with Visa picked up from local VFS office.
12/16/2011 - P.O.E.
01/19/2012 - Receive Green card in mail

2013-11-13 - Apply for Removal of Conditions.

2013-11-23 - NOA Date

My NVC RFE was sent back last Tuesday, I'm hoping to get a case closed this week and a Interview date. :D

If you don't mind let us know What was asked in the RFE.

In most of the cases, this review takes about 15 days after IV packet submition....

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11

AVR says "NVC has mailed a packet on Aug 4th to you.........".

That is fine. The AVR is still having the old information that they mailed you the the DS-230 packet by email on 8/4/2011, which is right. The AVR will get updated after one of the packets is processed with either a false RFE or a real RFE. It will take around 7 - 10 days. The ones that sent their first packet around 7/25 got a false RFE.

I hope I would get SIF/CC soon... Mine delivered 08/03... You're only a day ahead. Interesting!

Congrats and all the best with your interview schedule. Did you call an operator to inquire in between! Or just relied on AVR and Payment protal sigin!

Thank you very much for sharing. I am using the AVR even though it is slow to be updated and the payment login and haven't yet called the Operator yet. Thinking of calling today as a wek passed from the time they received my IV packet (AOS was 2 days behind). Hoping to get a clean complete and a September Interview.
