The AVR NEVER updated right away with any of the steps on our case. It always updated overnight. So I wouldnt say that it updates automatically the instant it's done. That's not true.

Thank you so much M! That info really helps. My AVR just changed to the "missing or incomplete information on your financial..." message. I am assuming it is because they received the DS-230 4 or 5 days before the I-864. It said they sent a checklist letter on August 15, 2011 but I have yet to receive an email. Gonna be calling tomorrow! :) Thanks again!!

I just spoke with a rep at the NVC and asked about my case status and when I would receive the email with the checklist letter. She said it could be 2 days before I receive the email and then told me the letter was only for the missing I-864. Yay!! I'm hoping that they get the I-864 entered into the system by the end of the week and that I don't get any real RFE's for it.

I hope I don't get any RFE's!

I am really exhausted as well. This quarter has been so emotionally, mentally and physically draining it's not even funny. An accelerated nursing program is no joke...

I just want Kinnari home....

I'm with you on this Dave. We will have been apart most of our first year of marriage. This process has been exhausting and frustrating at every step. The only good thing is its almost over.

Thanks guys. As the days get closer and closer to finishing this race its getting harder and harder to deal with this separation.

I REALLY hope I get case closed by the end of this month.

NVC is now extending the timelines of practically everything - further it is not following the FIFO (First In First Out) logic and causing heartache for guys like Jazz88 (he is waiting for 60 days). I hope someone out there takes control and bring back some order even in the delayed process.

Yes, It's quite apparent now. I am starting to see VSC approvals getting backlogged at NVC as well. This was not the case a month ago.

I was pretty much convinced they hated my face until my AVR finally changed in the middle of the night. I'm sure I'll feel the same way again as I wait for the I-864 to be processed. hahaha Hope you hear something soon!!

i just noticed that my wife put a wrong marriage date on a DS-230. When I filed the I-130 i put the 27th of January but after i check onthe DS-230 she put the 28th. Do you think i will get an RFE?

Usually people correct themselves with mistakes on the I-130 by using the DS-230. You did the opposite.

I would bet that you will get an RFE. The DS-230 must be to the T in terms of accuracy.

IF they let this slide, you want to inform the beneficiary to have the correct documents ready to hand to the officer during the interview.

If you get RFE it is good, so that you won't have head ache at the Interview time - you never know who and How the CO will view it - marraige date is very important to the whole process. Keep a corrected DS-230 ready to be given at interview time, if ther is no RFE. But if CO doesn't raise/ find it, just keep quite and take your visa.

I turned in my marriage certificate show the date of marriage is 28th of January. when I filed the I-130 i put the 27th because i used the date that vice president signed the marriage certificate, so the I-130 and DS-230 don't match.
